+1, I hesitated to execute someone last night due to that, wasn’t worth it.
I have run into this on mobile as well, I have just learned to slow down a bit to avoid dropping the thing I’m trying to use. This is challenging when you’re in a panic though, so if its fixable I’d love to see it fixed. Ill continue to go to UW until its fixed tho 🙂
that would make sense, I’ve seen some stairs tucked in behind walls and around corners before that would have been easy to miss. Not a bug, then, just gotta watch for that stuff 🙂
June 19, 2018 at 11:23 am in reply to: boots then says your already logged in when you try to sign in #8444I have run into this too but not frequently recently, it is highly irritating though. Unlike some things that I know the cause of (like switching to discord while playing causing me to lag for 2-3 minutes on a bad day) but the log out – user already logged in this is especially aggravating.
I think a slow-down restriction for jumping maps for those with infamy would be good, but not those without. It keeps cowards that start fighting you and start losing from fleeing as easily, but would still allow those being attacked who are passive to use it as a means to escape (I’m a runner…would prefer not to lose map jumping as a means of escape)
salmonberry pie, salmonberry pie, if I don’t get some I think I’m gonna die, give away the green grass give away the sky, but don’t take away my salmonberry pie.
plagiarismfair-use ftw.you guys use pk for lazy and cheap training (lv 50 vs lv 5) and you use it for very lazy “solution”
“you guys”?? you have taken every responder and lumped them into the same person. I begin to feel like that to you everyone who disagrees with this thread wants to kill level 5s… yet you’ve heard from various people who DONT want to kill level 5s who also want pvp. Diplomacy is *always* the first answer to issues but apparently you have not seen this fail enough to understand that sometimes running someone off the server entirely is the answer. And yes, they come back, and yes, they grief more, and eventually…they go away – they always do, because they cannot live in a hostile environment in which they are not welcomed by anyone and cannot get ahead. Stop lumping everyone in with the people that you do not like, and start actually reading, accept that many, many players are content with the systems in place in the game that they chose to start playing. I don’t go on Farmville forums and start posting about how it would be really great if we could just kill people, and then every time someone says “no, I think it would be best if we did not have that option” tell them that they are somehow lesser for not wanting to kill others. Its the same thing in reverse here, you are playing a game that does X and you want it to be Y, and anyone who doesn’t want Y is a jerk. That’s the takeaway, and I think I need to stop even reading these.
+1 on gardens, and cats, and alpaca’s….so +3
What are you guys so afraid of? That cannon fodder for your assassin sklling might run out?
… griefers, I’m afraid of griefers.
With exceedingly rare exceptions I do not PVP. I don’t like being PVPd, but I accept that the moment I step out of my base someone *might* kill me and that that same person might do so again and again. Levels and items are replaceable, and if I were getting constantly harassed via PVP (generally because of something I did, seriously) to the extent that the entire server or large portions of it wanted me gone, I would just start over. In general, though, I am irritated far, far more by griefers than getting killed and a PVE server does not solve this at all. In order for a PVe server to solve for this, nobody would ever be able to go within range of anyone else’s house, or items or make roads or walls. We’re talking an entire world of wellington but without having to spend myst? No thanks. Wellington is sufficient for this, and it STILL gets griefed.
The world does not turn around me. The game is PVP, I knew that coming in, if I couldn’t deal with it I would have left and gone back to a less stressful game.
its a neat idea, kind of like the server that ran for 90 days (ish…I don’t even recall exactly) but far more compressed. It would be a good place for those that play nonstop to get out some frustrations lol
you can’t die of hunger. I think there’s no message if you die on a trap, though I cant imagine someone finding you standing there and pushing you onto a trap though – certainly someone else has run into this?
not sure this is bug abuse, sounds more like someone using the game mechanics in a devious way, which isn’t against the rules really.
you can push another user if you have /pvp off, I thought, though the towers will hit you as soon as you move off the stairs so its pointless I suppose. I don’t really understand your description of how this looks like a nature tile though. I saw someone use a raft to disguise stairs once, but if it legit looks like a nature tile that may indeed be a bug.
that would work too! just a subtle change to the placement to differentiate between yourself and others 🙂
if it works like the arctic area (which I suspect it does) then no, can’t be turned to dirt, which impedes farming somewhat
I’d second the vote for explore, and then maybe cooking or foraging. Exploration helps you move quickly, which may help in travelling to gather supplies in the future; foraging will help you gather herbs for cooking, and cooking will allow you to make food that boosts xp gain which in turn will help you get stars in other skills later. They’re definitely more of a “skiller” set of stars to have, and not really combat, but you’ll gain combat as you go regardless, and being able to move fast and cook good food are definitely helpful
