That would be awesome
the assumption here also is that all infamous people are hostile, I get infamy for removing signs in the road, I get infamy for avenging someone else’s death, I get infamy for killing people who’ve quit playing and are taking up space in my base 🙂 I don’t actually USE wellington, but, blocking people from it who have infamy could affect anyone really
I can’t see anyone simply living out their entire game experience in wellington, so, if someone is truly bad they can be taken care of when they leave that area. I see it as playing tag and there’s “home base” which is safe and you can’t tag people. eventually they’re going to step outside the safe zone 😀
i would like to see my dog keep up with my walking speed, doesn’t seem to matter what my speed is it always falls off the page when I run and then teleports back to right behind me. I worry in those moments that I’m not going to see the person who kills it
+1 to #1, walking thru the dog would solve a lot of headaches
+99999 to #6, I’d like to have more than one dog and be able to keep them all in the same place, instead of leaving them in random spots to grief everyone else in my base#2 and #3 are Darwinism, may the best dog survive..
4 is a lie (I once left my dog overnight in the farm, no dead animals, dog survived the day, also he protects me from wolves when I reinc)
5 sounds like awful fun (were I wicked person :P)
type /sign and then your message
like this:
/sign This is my house
I have shaky mobile data at times. I get he worst lag at work when I’m in my work building and a plane flies over (near an airport) but otherwise I don’t seem to be experiencing the same levels of lag being reported here on the regular. From time to time yes, I get black screens and rubberbanding, but I scurry around fixing roads with no issues most of the time. that said, I know I’m not on as often as some of the people reporting this, so it might just not be a sustained lag but could be truly bad when it does happen. Lag is relative, sending a contact form into dev with more details such as the network youre on or time of day might narrow things down some, if its a data center issue or something more details would probably help towards getting that fixed
alchemy would be fun, maybe some new potions (like a speed potion, or anti-venom)
watching the death listing (I can’t log in right now) it definitely seems to be taking a chunk out of a lot of people, global is probably blowing up
+1
its been doing this for a while, I’ve learned to be really fast on the clicking info on the animals if I’m trying to do anything else while chasing the chickens around. It would be nice if it didn’t do this though
I *think* it means that the user is logged in or sleeping and hasn’t died in a long time. There are two mostly-gone players sleeping in my room that show up as oldest for tx, I think if they were to log out not in a bed they’d probably drop off the list though.
it has to do with how many posts you’ve made, but I don’t know the exact parameters, it seems like everyone starts out as a penguin until they hit four posts, then they move to turtle. I don’t know where wolf starts but I found someone with around 20 posts, then people were polar bear with 30ish posts and goblins in the 50’s. skeleton seems to be the highest but I only found people with under 200 posts, not sure if there’s a tier after that
so, something like this:
penguin 1-4 posts
turtle 5-10?
wolf 20’s?
polar bear 30’s?
goblin 50’s
skeleton 100’sWhether or not you built the bed should definitely matter. The only other time this happened to me (outside of being in someone elses bed) I figured it was my shaky data connection and I probably logged out a step to either side of my bed.
October 13, 2018 at 1:06 pm in reply to: Did anyone know the cordinate stairs on the underworld? #12293So what you’re saying is it resets weekly 😉 but on a schedule determined by when the floor was accessed which makes sense
My actual point was muck up discord with coords, not forums. The extra insight is appreciated though. Some day when I venture lower than 40 I’ll definitely need to know that so it’s valuable info
October 12, 2018 at 2:16 pm in reply to: Did anyone know the cordinate stairs on the underworld? #12261Due to the underworld resetting every week (I think its weekly) it’s challenging to keep tracking this in forums. There is a section in the Mystera Legacy discord channel where people can track this information, however. This link should work to get you there: http://tinyurl.com/MLdiscord
I think a /reinc option to block it wouldn’t be unreasonable. I think the odds of a mistaken reincarnation is probably pretty rare though, I’ve seen people do it in rage but never heard of someone doing by accident on our server, so, it maybe limited to a few super tired people who are overtasking themselves.
*IF* dev banned botting, it should not be retroactively applied – what’s done is done and it should be a “moving forward” kind of thing.
I don’t feel that botting has impacted my enjoyment of the game in a significant way. I DO feel like adding more rules to the game could potentially impact enjoyment though. People teleporting through walls (bug abuse)? definitely a problem. people leveling their clubbing while not actively paying attention toe the game (botting)? not so much. Random events would be a reasonable solution, but I have enough to worry about it if my signal drops without there being more things to kill me because I stood in the same place for too long.
