If there are no leaders in a tribe or if the leader has been inactive for a week or more then it should be possible for an Elder to promote themselves to Leader, have one of your members try this.
The upcoming equipment combination system through altars is something that may make this achievable without the additional ease of de-leveling gear in this manner anyways. I’m not sure why you think it should be easy to obtain a5 gear for reincarnates and I say this as someone who has reincarnated enough times to know the advantage that type of gear gives.
I don’t think it would help lower level players at all, he’s only giving this suggestion because the server he’s playing has been open a short amount of time and yet he’s already creating gear that is too high level for most of the players and possibly even his own tribe and that is the only reason for his suggestion.
Personally I think the admin made the mechanic this way intentionally, high level runed gear should be difficult to equip and so I see no reason for it to be changed.
Aw man, yeah I hate when I can’t craft anything less than +2 a couple weeks in to a server

You can gain advantages through resource gathering and increasing crafting too though. The ability to craft high level rune gear and give that to your allies is an incredibly huge advantage especially in the early game when really no one should have this type of gear yet.
I know, it’s four weeks or 672 hours but that’s not what I am asking about. I am working a theory that time alive hours are also converted in to a secondary dust gain upon dying. For example if you have 100 hours alive and let’s say those hours are converted at 1 dust per hour then dying nets you an extra 100 dust. This would be a different dust bonus than the dust gained through leveling.
April 13, 2018 at 6:16 am in reply to: Mystera Botting Drama [SEA] lets discuss! :) all server INVITED #6971I don’t think it really matters whether or not the rules explicitly state botting/scripting/macros are or are not allowed (though I can hardly think of many cases where it’s expressly permitted) but I think it’s obvious to anyone with a brain that these things do give unfair advantages and in a perfect world we would certainly want the admin to deal with these abusers.
However, botting is difficult to police and it’s hard to tell the difference between a guy digging on an alt for hours and a bot doing it without the admin manually inspecting this himself which I’m sure he lacks time to do.
I’ve had the botting discussion many times across multiple games and the arguments are always the same from the botters, “I just enjoy coding and scripting,” “The admin didn’t forbid it,” “I’m not hurting anyone” and they never change their tune.
So sure, one solution is to enforce rules against botting and scripting but I think the alternative and better method would be to improve on the mechanics that are easily susceptible to botting by ensuring people who choose to play fairly can take advantage of mechanics in the same way bots can or to build the mechanics around systems that limit the advantages of botting as much as possible.
I am curious though how long @admin intends to allow a certain group of players to continually detract players from his game across several servers.
How do I post a screenshot?
Upload it to an image host such as imgur and then link it using the IMG tag
If you actually take the time to think about it logically though it’s understandable why this change was implemented. Not only was infamy supposed to lessen the amount of newbie killing but it’s also intended to be a gold sink in the form of removing infamy with gold via altars. However, I personally do not know a single player that ever bothered to use gold to remove their infamy because one could easily hit a dummy for several hours and then the infamy is gone and essentially you’ve received no punishment for killing lower level players. When it comes to hunting and killing the same players over and over again, infamy was not a hindrance in this regard so hopefully this changes that.
I noticed that sometimes even when a Shroomie is healing on your screen and you can clearly see the “All Better” as further proof it’s the same Shroomie you see, the indicator on the mob being healed still points in the opposite direction of that Shroomie.
Just indicating your bias
No you’re not, you’re trolling a perfectly fine thread with irrelevant responses. Like he said if you’ve actually got something to contribute to the idea then by all means do so otherwise stop posting because a majority of your posts are obnoxious and if I could pop them massive amounts of hot air would likely be released.
Probably not, many players have done it.
Question about Ghost Blade, is the disorient just randomly used (spammed) when in melee range or is it triggered by something like each time you attack it?
If it’s just random then I think it would serve a much better purpose if attacking the ghost blade was the trigger to cause it to disorient as this would ensure you still need a ranged attack to beat them but also creates the interesting dynamic that you can effectively control their disorient and use it to your advantage if needed in exchange for taking the damage it causes.
I don’t see the problem with it. As stated, /who exists. It’s just a quality of life, and maybe quality of network improvement if we don’t have to spam /who all the time.
Don’t care for the /accept command either. Honestly, I don’t want to be bothered with people adding me or asking me why I haven’t accepted their friend invites.
Example: You add a player and you can now see when they log in and out thus giving you an easier method of learning their schedule and determining the largest gap of time for which the player will be offline in which you could raid them. And if it just so happens that the player logs on outside of the regular schedule anyways you will know exactly when that happens and can immediately react to it whether that would be covering your tracks and vacating the area to prevent the player from finding out you are raiding them at that time or you are already somewhat inside and can use that information to prepare for a fight gaining not only a defensive advantage but an offensive advantage as well.
Certainly this scenario is still possible by simply typing the /who command frequently but if you are fine with making raiding easier then I guess that’s cool too.
