Flag’s explanation seems correct according to my experiences. It’s easy to verify hunting xp simply by using a maxed out weapon.
This is one of the key misunderstandings about reincarnation. A lot of people argue in favor of ascension because they believe that each blue star decreases the amount of available exp in the game.
Everyone who reincs develops leveling habits. You’ll start to notice that you fall back on the same methods to get to level 40 again and again. When I’m deciding on what to reinc with, I think about what is going to make the jump from level 40 to my max the easiest. For me, that’s grinding mobs. Therefore my first priority was getting blue stars in hunting, spear, and heavy armor. They are all very easy to level and now even as a newb I don’t have to worry about being killed by random mobs.
After that is out of the way we all have our preferences, mine are in the following order:
-Crafting
-ConstructionWhile mining and chopping seem important, you can use a lot of modifiers on your gear to compensate for them.
I can’t believe how active Dev has been with communication. After years of silence from Dev’s on Rucoy this level of interaction is astounding and much appreciated.
Love this idea. Battering ram damage should increase for every person that is using it. Thay way you can stack on it.
Clearing my cache worked
I think the Devs have the right idea but just went a little too far in the execution. I really think the decay rate was just sped up too much and the flint usage was increased too much. This update just needs some fine tuning to find a happy medium. We are going to have to reduce base sizes either way, it’s becoming problematic for growing the community. I’ve noticed that base maintenance was already taking too much time away from actually playing the game even before the update.
The things we own end up owning us.

Enzymes.
I got confirmation that devs are releasing updated maps that allow access from below and above market square to fix the issue without making major changes to how building works in Galebrook. Wall will not be an issue long.
Yes, the possibilities are endless. I second this.
I’ve gotta say I’ve been really impressed with the community on US WEST. Everyone has been incredibly helpful and neighbors have rallied to my aid on more than one occasion. There is also still a lot of open space as well. Maybe it’s an individual server that is causing the issue.
Thanks, I had an issue where I couldn’t recall and I assumed it was because of the floor reset. I probably just forgot that I had died.
I would love it if they introduced alternative forms of tackle. Better reels and rods. Maybe a distance rod that goes a couple squares out. This would be good if larger pools of water contained bigger fish towards the center. Plus I like the idea of different qualities of bait.
Working on mine. Will update over weekend. This could really help with managing our road infrastructure.
You’re not thinking it through, Therieth is right about the unintentional consequence.
I agree across the board but would particularly like to push for the last point. It offers up a much more interesting endgame as we have to become much more involved in the crafting aspect of gaining skill points by necessity.
And what about depth recall?
