No one wants their raids to take forever, but no one wants to be raided either. Construction and destruction changes tend to be pretty emotionally charged, lol. The pvp change sounds cool, tho.
Still an issue on West. I’ve found farming extremely difficult to do without it happening now. Perhaps our big upgrade (the one USE got) will help a bit?
I don’t go to south sands anyway, but ye.. dick move. And considering no one is actually paying the toll, it’s effectively blocked.
^This. For the love of all things holy, please implement some sort of warning message before server resets. I’ll spawn across the map with a full 5 pages full of iron maces because I was power training clubbing. 25k carry weight and no compass or sense of where I am.. Its not fun.
Hmm.. test bump. (I really need this lol)
Ppl would lvl their chaoses up to 150 and cause so much havok in the server…. 100% support!
We had a 150 the other day and it took 3 of our best players working together to finally kill it. Admittedly it was probably made much more difficult by the ENTIRE DAMN SERVER showing up to spectate…
Support for immersion.
I always check sqrs before repairing for exactly that reason. It’s a relatively simple solution, if annoying. There is still the problem of ppl coming up and stealing the item youre repairing, however… This is especially painful when someone goes and trolls like this at SK. You drop your weapon to repair it, someone steals it, and you cant kill them OR finish SK. It’s never happened to me before but I get paranoid AF everytime I have to repair there.
Support! Perhaps even larger tables that can hold more items? And dogs wouldnt eat food thats on tables. That would be ideal
I’d just like to see the hunger requirement removed from the infamy debuff timer.
I’m not a rampaging murderer and I never raid anyone, but every once in a while I need to kill a noob. I had to kill 2 who were raiding my neighbor the other day, just to show them that raiding in my area has consequences. I had to kill a lvl 8 just today because I was trying to make a trade with someone and the lvl 8 was following us around, trying to push us with unarmed. Every single one of his hits missed, mind you, so he didnt have any anfamy when I hit back. I just wanted to trade safely and I got an hour’s debuff for it.
In my opinion, there are legitimate reasons to kill a noob from time to time. And I’m ok with there being deterents in place to prevent power abuse as well. But I really have to think twice about defending myself and my neighbors because I know I cant work that 1 hour debuff off in an hour. It might take me 3 or 4. I afk a lot and forget to keep up on my hunger. Empty hunger doesn’t really affect me at any time other than when I have infamy, so I dont keep a lot of food around and I don’t watch the bar.
I also dont see why infamy *should* be tied to hunger. That’s really my only complaint. I think the recent hotfix patched most of the other issues I had with the system.Perhaps dmg from towers could be increased vs those with higher infamy as 1 dmg is pretty neglegible. And perhaps the infamy cap could scale infinitely, but logrithmically upward based on number of killings. Balancing isn’t really my strong point, tho, so I’ll leave that up to ya’ll.
Thanks for your time.
Several hours later.. Idt its stopped for more than 30 min all day.
4th account. The Is and Ls are indistinguishable for some people on mobile.
Is now creating new accounts with difficult to read/type names.
This sort of activity has become prevalant in USW, as well. I’ve been playing for about 3 weeks now and have whitnessed countless walls pop up around the market square entrance, 2 “Trump Walls” spanning the entire length of the map, and hundred of wall blocks placed dorectly in front of Tribes’ doors. Even with high destruction and a good hammer, these things take hours to knock down, but require only seconds to place.
20 monutes according to the helpful players over at USE.
