Suggestion: PVP memento

It would be nice if some evidence of an execution (or murder) were left behind after a kill. The original Diablo had a feature that anyone killed by another player dropped an ear (complete with meat-y “squish” sound when it landed). It would be awesome if ML revived the practice.

An ear with an identifying name and the level they were when killed (i.e. “FrostyMcB’s Ear – lvl60”) could be used for collecting a bounty, bartered for something with the owner or put on display for bragging rights. Fun!

Ears, teeth, fingers, toes… Just about anything would do.

+1 I loved that feature in Diablo. Something of the like that’s fun like that would be cool to have.

( One time I got diablos d!#$ somehow when I was using the staff of apocalypse very strange . And it also made the squishy sound ) hahaha

However this might be a pain for those who PK and loot recreationally.

Some dudes might not want their inventory spammed with lv2 Spook’s ear

However I imagine someone being proud to hold Lv250 (90 reinc) polarstar’s Ear and all that good stuff

We should probably have like uhhhh command for that? “/bounty” to collect the evidence of your dead victims maybe?

Also the ear should say if the victim had infamy or not? Like uhhh “Naughty Spook’s Ear”, or just “Spook’s ear”

I feel like holding your kill’s equipment and screenshot is a good treasure. Killing a level 32 player doesn’t need a permanent memento, death is all too common in mystera for it to be an event every time. Killing a level 102 player, you’ll likely grab a custom
named piece of equipment with unique stats and that’s what a trophy is. There are already trophies in game, I don’t need a participation ribbon for every gank.

-1 because:
1) Kills can be buyed
2) Too much trash like ears of 5-30lvl players.

But if this ears will drop only from infamy guys, it will be ok. But kills still can be buyed, so its not so good. But the idea sounds cool.
