I searched a little and couldn’t find that suggestion.
I think there need to be a PVP on/off button in interface anywhere.
Reason is when playing with PVP on (cuz of PK’ers), some lag is enough to damage a wall and get killed by towers like i had soon 🙂Addition: Also sometimes its forgotten if pvp is on or off by player. And that causes friendly fire 🙂 So i think this button need to be in main interface and “pvp on/off” or red color/green color indicator need on this button.
And sometimes it will be urgent to turn pvp on or off and there is not enough time to write /pvp command.(Sorry for bad english, i wish i could explain well)
September 3, 2018 at 9:14 am #11800+1 to a button to easily turn it off and on, however I’d be as happy with just some sort of visual indicator as to whether I have it on or off.
September 3, 2018 at 9:31 am #11801+1 typing /PvP is just to slow in PvP situations. There’s times when you fighting high lvls u wanna turn it off and times when someone u can take shows up and you need it back on. To much switching during any group fights.. Fix!

in principle I agree but we’re getting away form having a simple on/off toggle so we’re going a little far afield of the original point. But since we’re here anyway – I end up with /pvp on most of the time because of having to do base management and training destruction etc, even though I don’t generally player kill. It might be useful to add more options, maybe split it into four (or 3 if we could just merge 2 below into the current /pvp off function):
1 – cannot kill other players, hit other players structures, kill your own dog but you can hit your own structures (current mechanism of /pvp off)
2 – all of the above but also restrict you from hitting your OWN structures, basically you can’t hit anything but monsters, possibly restrict accidentally murdering someone else’s dog (unless this is already in /pvp, haven’t tested it)
3 – can only kill other people/dogs but may not hit ANY structures
4 – can kill people, dogs, any structure, etc. (current mechanism of /pvp on)September 4, 2018 at 7:42 am #11805September 14, 2018 at 9:30 am #11902Do you think it makes sense to have pvp button off to mean you cannot attack players/structures AND players/structures cannot attack you? (with pvp button on meaning you can attack and be attacked). This means players who want to do pvp can, while players who don’t want to do pvp don’t have to, and there is no need for safe town like Wellington.
September 14, 2018 at 9:32 am #11905What you’re saying makes sense, but not in the context of this game. PVP is part of this game, it may not be loved by all, and its certainly not what it once was – but it’s there and places like wellington are set up so people who do not want to PVP can avoid it, or you can build good relationships within the game to lessen your chances of getting killed.
