So with the game growing exponentially, broadcast chat or bchat for short moves a mile a minute, and it is getting hard to keep track of what all is going on.
My suggestions are;
– have tap and clickable tabs on the side of the chat box for things such as; bchat, PM, tribe, everything else (crafting/knit etc), and have important messages persist, break warnings etc.
This will benefit both mobile and PC users, as many mobile games/mmos have this type of style chat box.
– PC users; have the tabs and have them drag/pop out as well.
These suggestions will keep chat more tidy, as there has been complaints of chat moving too fast and hard to follow convos, break warnings, PMs, and tribe chatter.

Some issues I can think of with this suggestion; how to close the tabs for PM, maybe long tap/press on screen or double click, or even an x.And there could be an issue with people using scripts to make alts, or bots to spam PM someone with different names and load up their side bar tabs.
+1 global is becoming to much to keep up with.

Maybe just add a trade chat section for those selling or looking to purchase items, which would thin out global a bit. Then add a chat selector / de-selector(filter in options). Just an idea.

@Hundsome yes, we need more channels too. I had an idea for that and other channels too.
We will soon need something with all these new players, and game still isn’t full release.
EDIT: – PC users; have the tabs and have them drag/pop out into separate windows as well, like ‘chat rooms’.
UPDATE:
So we need tabs for:
-Broadcast
-PM
-Tribe
-Deaths
-Trade
-System; crafting etc
-Party (for future party system pls)And the ability to check a box or something small to include or remove them from appearing in the current chat box. That way if you want to see everything in one box you can. But say you want all in the box but want Deaths in a in an individual tab, since we all know people dying can spam the chat box quickly.

Sounds like a goood idea I like it.
Might also be nice to have a command card style along the bottom like Starcraft 2 does but idk that it would work well on a phone 🤷🏼♂️. The chatbox idea would be great though.
Would be nice to have some kinda unjam controls button or /command because it gets old tabbing out of the page to fix them and then the sound breaks.

Posts: 56+1 for sure. Would definitely love to have a more organized chat system. Especially spam toggles…it gets annoying seeing crafting spam and the like. That and overall would be good for people afking but wanting to still talk to others in the pop outable tabs, letting them do other things while dummy training and chatting.

Due to player hoarding ‘sleepers’ in his base, those who stopped playing, and were punched from their beds into his base..
He now let them all be killed by his towers, which spammed a great deal of chat in USE. This happened around 11:27pm EST.
We need really a way to sort chat, tabs for death messages etc.
