Its like the underground update did not worked at all… they said that those sort of blocks could be destroyed if the ajacent one (the one you placed) was older than the one that blocked the gate.
November 20, 2018 at 12:05 pm #13018I’m not entirely sure what you mean about the underground, but walls work like this (if this helps):
If you place a single wall block you can break it in about 4 hits. There’s a brief time period where that single wall piece is weak and others can take it out quickly too (I think its 5 minutes, someone should correct me though). Otherwise someone else would have to beat on it for a while.
If you place a single wall piece that touches someone else’s wall (possibly what you mean by “older wall”?) you can break your wall piece in about 4 hits. The owner of the other wall can also break your wall piece in about four hits. Everyone else (unless they hit it as soon as you put it up) will have to take it out with a hammer or weapon more slowly.
For this reason, people should not build touching other people’s walls unless they’re certain that person is not coming back, or they don’t care whether someone breaks in to the area they’ve walled off.
November 20, 2018 at 12:25 pm #13019The underground update (Is the update that implemented the way to destroy walls that were placed adjacent to yours); but… doesnt it works also with walls placed adjacent to gates?. For some reason (even if that 5 minutes pased; i was sleeping) it wont let me to destroy the wall that the other placed adjacent to my gate (which is blocking it) not even using a hammer, it does not damages the wall, more like dont land a hit on it.
