Posts: 45Let’s say that I reincarnate 4 times on one specific skill and received 4 stars and 4 bonus levels( 1 per reincarnation); can I continue reincarnating with that skill and if so, will I still get the 1-5 level bonus?

It gets tough to stack blue stars because your top skill only counts yellow star levels.
This is kind of nice if you want to blue star certain skills like assassin or exploration, because you could reincarnate with your commonly used skills first to take them out of the running in a sense.
If you did manage to get the max of 4 blue stars in one category and still have it as your top skill then the game will ask you to focus something else before letting you reincarnate. Though JVH might adjust things, now that testing has begun 😀

1.) Since you cannot reincarnate with a skill that already has 4 blue stars, does this mean that you permanently lose out on 16 max levels if you were only able to secure +1 max level per reincarnation (blue star)? If that is the case, will there be any mechanism in the future to allow someone to regain those 16 levels or reset the blue stars for a more optimal use of the reincarnation feature for the said skill?
2.) Does this also mean that there will be a max level with the formula, ((no. of skills x 4) x 5) + 80?
No problem!
I asked JVH and he said that he would add another way to increase level cap before anyone got close to maxing out. That way you don’t have to worry about missing out on any levels when you reincarnate with a lower cap increase ^_^I feel like adding in another way to increase level cap is making the penalty of not diversifying your skills at reincarnation go against the point of requiring skill diversity.
Someone can just train one skill until they can reincarnate because they’ll know they can always just increase the level cap a different way. This kind of goes against what the reincarnating system tries to strive for.

Hey Alanal, unfortunately we aren’t able to rollback reincarnations 🙁
You should be able to get your skills back up again quickly now that there’s no skill reduction and a lot of skills had their experience increased.

Posts: 8that is bad… Reincarnation looks kind of useless thing. I just lost ~50 levels of hunting and ~30 of spear/medium armor and etc…
That was half a year of experience…
And how for example Spear could be my top skill to get blue star? Hunting will be always higher…
Reincarnation only make sense, if you lost only your level, but not reset all skills…
Only one thing is more stupid that Reincarnation – clicking on it without reading…Yikes
