Proxies and exceptions

I have usually my computer set to use a proxy for internet, but I use exceptions for certain sites. Amongst them is this one. A short time ago my computer was failing to go to any site except this one, so I think it had something to do with the proxy. Problem is, the game wasn’t loading at the time. Do I have to add some other exceptions to proxying in order to have the game not pass through the proxy?

I don’t really want to play through the proxy.
