Hey, so I’ve been thinking of a few ways to improve the southern Galebrook desert area a bit but I thought I’d run it past you guys before I really get into it in case there’s any objections:
    1. Replace the large expanses of shallow water with small pockets of deep water spaced about 100 tiles apart so there’s both more land for rocks to spawn and more spots to fish.
    2. Create a long, winding road where every desert tile is visible at least once to help people train their mining and possibly exploration.
    3. Remove visibly abandoned houses and roads/floor tiles.

I was just made aware that the shallow water was indeed for a mining system (Thanks Tee), so I’ll leave the desert alone and maybe do something with the snow biome later.

Update: I think I AM going to go ahead with #2 in the desert but It’ll stop short of the mining rows, I’ll nix #1 and let decay deal with #3. I’ll also be working on it periodically but I should be adding more tiles faster than the existing ones decay.

there is one (actually two) non-windling roads in that area, basically the highspeed road for most East-West traffic in the southern hemisphere.

if you happen to have a few stones on your hand occasionally and don´t mind dropping a couple of those for the community every once in a while, I guess for that effort some of us would owe you a beer

Desert road’s done, it begins on the upper left of the desert and ends on the lower left of the desert. Now I’m thinking of doing something similar for the snow biome.
