Bow PvP?

So in most games that allwed bow usage for pvp I have always played an archer. But in this game it the bow was used really for one purpose and that was sk which has been fixed so its no longer useful there, or anywhere now for that matter. Something I have been talking about to some people is the idea of a 1 handed crossbow or something to make bow PvP a thing in this game. Pls make Bow pvp a thing!

Agreed, pls giv 1 handed projectile weapon. I wouldn’t be opposed to enchanted ammo either cause unless the ammo has really high base attack it’ll still have the same problem archery does (rip to armor). Diamond bolts (e), anyone?

Great idea since there projectile weapons they should go through leather armor and even chainmail or iron plate like in real life a bow might not go through plate but a crossbow does with the right tipped arrow

yes but IRL crossbows where basically a 1 shot trick pony. they can not be reloaded quickly… would be interesting if you could make steel tipped bolts, 3/4 the range of bow… 1/3 firing rate and maybe a base armour pen of like 30%?

so you could alternate between your weapon and the crossbow in between cooldowns..

I would like to see this game move in a direction where there is actual melee combat. currently people just WW from a distance and may never actually hit their target. which is very poor pvp. I don’t mind stuff like crossbows, but ya, I would not like it be in place of melee.

so maybe a 1 handed crossbow (so u can swap weapons and keep shield on). and it has a ability like WW. So if you have a melee weapon equipped, you will show WW, if you have a crossbow equipped it will show some sort of bolt ability that shoots a projectile in a direction (not auto-aim), would have a very long cooldown. so you have to try and be very accurate with it as you will have to wait 30 seconds to fire again. or something along those lines.

so it would just be a tool in pvp, not a weapon that u actively use to damage someone. YOu could even have it so it cant fire normally, and only has that activated ability. So kind of like 1 trick pony before pulling out your weapon.
